Duplicates fell heavily on the original; Xiaomi overtakes Apple
Xiaomi Smartphone Market: 353.6 million smartphones shipped in the third quarter between July and September this year. IDC had projected a 9 percent drop due to the corona. However, the corona did not suffer as much as expected due to more phone calls being sent.
The International Data Corporation (IDC) has released a report on smartphone shipments in the third quarter of this year. Samsung has maintained its number one position in the world. If Xiaomi has won the third set to surpass Apple. Importantly, the company was started by the owner of Xiaomi after seeing the success story of the owner of Apple. This was followed by the launch of a smartphone that looks similar to Apple but runs on Android.
Despite the Corona crisis, there hasn’t been much difference in sending smartphones. It has declined by 1.3 percent in the quarter. The Corona epidemic caused three to four months of lockdowns in many countries around the world. Yet these figures are very good.

According to the IDC report
According to the report, Samsung dominates the smartphone market by 22.7 percent. The company shipped 80.4 million units in the third quarter of 2020. The company had 2.9 percent more units available in the market as compared to last year. I.e. corona has an effect on production.
The Chinese company is second with 51.9 million units sold. It dominates the market with 14.7 percent. Shipments are down 22 percent from last year.
On the other hand, another Chinese company is at number three. Xiaomi has sold 46.5 million units, surpassing a company like Apple. Xiaomi has captured 13.1 percent of the market. It also saw a 42 percent increase in low-cost phones.
Apple and Vivo accounted for 11.8 percent and 8.9 percent, respectively. Importantly, the iPhone 11 was the most consumed smartphone in the world. Apple sold 41.6 million units and Vivo sold 31.5 million units.
